CORRECTPC floppy power connector pinout

I suggest that you add a remark to this page that this pinout is correct but some sources incorrectly give the floppy connector the same pinout numbers as the large molex connector. I know one major book that is into a large number of editions that was incorrect until a year or two ago.

Perhaps you should call it (small drive connector) as well for clarity.

Floppy Drive Connector
(Small Drive Connector)

1 +5V Red
2 GND Black
3 GND Black
4 +12V Yellow

NOTE: Colours are the same as the large Molex connector but pin numbers are different.

Hard Drive Connecter
(Large Drive Connector - Molex)

1 +12V Yellow
2 GND Black
3 GND Black
4 +5V Red

Brian
