MacPro G5 front dual fans with straight 6 pin female connector

To repurpose fans using 12v PWM controller. Separate (all black) leads to check pin numbers - two are double. This assumes connector has raised side lugs facing up and numbering from L to R. Connect motor +ve pins 2 & 6 together.
