Maybe I just metered wrongly...a couple of times...but, pin 2 on the jack meters to the metal sleeve of the iPod connector. I believe it may be just a regular ground, but I'm not 100% sure.

Pin 2 is connected to the metal sleeve. Also the connector at the Dash/Arm rest is called gt10s-16ds-hu
